Culture Night – Cork 2008 at Civic Trust House - Friday 19 September
Posted by alice on September 16th, 2008.The 8 professional arts companies resident in Civic Trust House, Pope’s Quay, Cork are pleased to invite you to join us for an evening of art and entertainment as part of Culture Night Cork 2008. For the first city-wide Culture Night we will be opening our doors to visitors all evening and inviting some of our friends to perform. Drop in and meet the gang and enjoy some of the free entertainment running right through to midnight!Performances throughout the evening will include:
MUSIC from guests of Opera 2005, Cork International Choral Festival, Cork Jazz Festival Committee & Cork Folk Festival
POETRY from guests of Tigh Filí, as well as a children’s Eurochild poetry workshop & reading
THEATRE from guests of Cork Midsummer Festival
VIDEO ART from Cork Film Centre
FILMS of productions by Corcadorca Theatre Company, Cork Midsummer Festival partners & Opera 2005
